Mark Lloyd commenced his career as a graffiti artist but soon progressed through formal training to MA level. In 2008, he won the NIACE Award and in 2012 Lloyds work featured in the Saatchi Gallery ‘New Sensations’. In 2013 he was short listed for the Griffin Art Prize. In 2014, Lloyds work was selected for the Amnesty International Art Exhibition and selected for a group show at the Agora Gallery in New York. He exhibits across the UK and is currently in huge demand in London and New York with a combination of small and large commissioned paintings. He is a passionate and enthusiastic artist who believes that being an artist is a political statement and that art is a means of inspiring others to self empowerment and self betterment.
