Hatchling Gallery is a space within Hatch for young and emerging artists to exhibit their paintings, often for the first time. Over the years, this has become a popular exhibition space for local artists and a great addition to the Gallery and Christchurch artist community.

‘Best of Dorset’ exhibition is opening this Friday at Hatch, 6-8pm, and Frances Hatch (coincidental but great name) will be leading a discussion on how the Dorset landscape shapes the work. Should be a very illuminating evening. We have some incredibly talented artists living and painting the Dorset landscape: Frances Hatch ARWS, Martyn Brewster ARE, Ursula Leach RE, Stephen Foster, Joyce Ringrose, Sarah Humby and Pete Gilbert will all be exhibiting.
