Claire Wiltsher

Claire’s beautiful paintings have a very distinctive style with a similar theme capturing the different weather and mood of the English land and sea. New Forest artist, Claire Wiltsher has a Masters Degree in Fine Art and has exhibited in solo shows throughout Britain. In 2010 she was awarded the Rosemary & Co Art Award by Society of Women Artists. In 2011 her work was selected for acquisition by the House of Lords and is currently hanging at Millbank House.

She has exhibited in the Annual Cork Street Exhibition; in 2013 Claire exhibited in New York and Seattle Affordable Art Fairs and she continues to have sellout solo exhibitions across the country.

Recent Awards:

2021: Claire won the peoples choice award at St Barbes Lymington Open Exhibition.

2018: Artists and Illustrators magazine – ‘Artist of the Year 2018 from a field of 2400 entries and 50 finalists

2019: Winner for the Russell and Chappele canvas prize at the Royal Society of Marine Artists Annual Exhibition
