Sarah Foat

Sarah is an abstract artist creating bold, vibrant paintings.

Her work is largely inspired by graffiti with a particular fascination for the multiple layers of paint and vivid colour combinations. Using acrylics she explore textures and colour with a continual process of applying and removing paint in order to reveal glimpses of previous layers. Sarah enjoys experimenting with mark-making and investigating contrasts, not only with colour but also texture, tone, line and space.
