Tracey Emin - great show! Always a bit disturbing. Everyone walked around in silence - even the baby was quiet. Some wonderful drawing hidden under shrouds of red paint. You just know that if she painted a simple rose, as it was, it would be incredibly beautiful.

Enjoyable treat yesterday visiting RA Summer Exhibition with lovely Lu! Don’t think I was wowed by the art as much as last year but enjoyed paintings by the academicians and loved the trending pop art pics.
Back in Hatch today - all a lot quieter but appreciating the great talent of our artists here in the gallery.
